BUZZ AND WOODY

Holy Moly! It is that time of the year again and YES the HALLOWEEN Costumes have arrived.... Jace has thought out and planned very carefully the perfect costume for him and his brother. Jace is going to be BUZZ LIGHTYEAR and little Briggs is going to be WOODY! I thought is was quite funny when Jace was checking for the UPS driver every day wondering when his BUZZ was coming... Well let me tell you I really don't know if the costumes are even going to last to the 31st of October? Every day since we received the costumes Jace and his cousin Rafe have been putting on the get ups while they watch Toy Story 2 They switch back and forth, back and forth and It is exhausting I can tell you right now "IT'S GETTING OLD!" Whatever, I guess that is what it is all about... And poor little Briggs just watches the fast action jumping from couch to couch.. Its all pretty exciting for him to watch!

Carve It Up!!!

Tonight we got a little CREATIVE, and got out all the kitchen knifes!!! Yep, we Carved up some PUMPKINS for the boys.. Jace was just absolutely freaking out about touching the Pumpkins Guts...... We carved a happy face with two bottom teeth just like our darling Briggs. Jace wanted a really scary pumpkin with mean eyes. How did we do?

Pumpkin Patch

This Weekend we hooked up with the Newby and Hofer cousins and hit Staheli Farm... We had a ball, I think we hit everything! You name it we did it...... the kids loved the Petting Zoo, We took a tractor ride to the Pumpkin Patch, Gathered Pumpkins,The boys played on all the slides. But, the best part was the Haunted Corn Field. I tried to talk Jace out of it but he was determined to be a big Brave boy and go with his dad...I don't know what it is about Halloween but I love to hate the Spooky Allies... They just get my blood pump'n and scare me right to death. Ryan, Jace, Jeff, Reggie and I went in the Haunted Corn Field together as a group.... and I think I scared the crap right out of Jeff and Reggie!!! (I wouldn't let go of them) But, what made us laugh the hardest is when the chain saw guy was running after us in the field and I TOTALLY ATE CRAP!!!!!!! on all fours I went down like I was sliding into home..... Man I did not see that one coming! What a Great Night!

Fabulous Fall

I love this time of year!

The nights start to cool off, The smell of Pumpkin Vanilla Candles, The leaves start to change color, Wardrobe changes. It's like a fresh new start of something EXCITING! I really look forward to have the SEASONS change. I always know when October is near because "THE MOTHER" VIV Starts talking about her Halloween DECOR... Ever year it takes about 2 weeks to get all of her Witches, Pumpkins and Wreaths out of storage. She lives for the month of OCTOBER. And I am so thrilled when she calls me up and says " Come put up my business" She is the best!!! she does so much for me and my family, So what ever I can do to help brighten her day I am all over! So, I just got back from her house and all I can say is Holly Crap! How can she fit all that stuff in her house? Well I got the bug! I decided to donate a little space to my Halloween Shrine... It's nothing like Vivs or Amys house but, I think that it is just enough....

It's that time of the year again...

The Lions Dixie Round-Up!It is the Spilsbury,Newby Family Tradition to hit the Rodeo.....

This year was one to remember... Okay you are totally going to laugh but, for the last 15-20 years we have been sitting in the best spot. And let me tell you I didn't even realize what we have to go through to sit in our seats... We hit the Rodeo every night. So every day we have to sit in line with our blankets waiting for the gates to open
(we are in to it HARD CORE)
So let me set this whole thing up for you. At 5 or 6 in the morning we drop off the blankets. We go back around 3:00 pm to sit and wait for the gates to open... (No joke)
Well it gets even better! when the gates open up exactly at 5:00 pm everyone sprints on a dead run to put your blankets down.

So alright, I use to be a full time working girl and usually I would just show up. But this year Brock was gone, and Hey lets face it I have more time than I ever thought I would being a stay at home mom. So Jody and I were in charge, and all I can say is HOLY CRAP! They opened the gates and as I am running to our perfect spot my flip flop flies off and I cant find it, let alone turn around to get it because the fear I might get trampled by the stampede behind me! They even informed me on how to throw the blanket...
Then my sister Jody got in a fight about somebody cutting in line!
It was very funny, we couldn't stop laughing. Three words
PEE PEE LAUGH!!!

The OLD Gray Mare Aint What She Use To Be!!!

Let me just tell you I am freaking out!!!!! This week I have PLUCKED 3 gray hairs out of my head..... I just turned 30 and my hair is already changing color? I just don't get it I am way to young to have this crap start up.... You always hear everything goes down hill once you hit the big -30- It's harder to loose weight, you get gray hair, Blah Blah Blah.......Well this is nuts! I don't like it one bit... I honestly have never even thought of
